Mission 1: Interrogation
- Go to Henricus and ask him about the possibility of joining the Inquisition:
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | inquisitor |
Henricus: | The churches of the gods entrusted me with the enormous and responsible task to lead the inquisition. I leave the field work to inquisitors who I recruit from fitting people that cross my way. |
Player: | join |
Henricus: | Do you want to join the inquisition? |
Player: | yes |
Henricus: | So be it. Now you are a member of the inquisition. You might ask me for a mission to raise in my esteem. |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | Let's see if you are worthy. Take an inquisitor's field guide from the box in the back room. ... Follow the instructions in the guide to talk to the Thaian guards that protect the walls and gates of the city and test their loyalty. Then report to me about your mission. |
- Your task is to investigate with 5 guards in Thais named: Walter, The Guard, Kulag, The Guard, Grof, The Guard, Miles, The Guard and Tim, The Guard. If you do everything right, you will see a holy aura on you.
- Your investigation will be helped by a manual that you can take out from a chest in the room behind the door with the blinking handle.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Walter, The Guard: | LONG LIVE THE KING! |
Player: | trouble |
Walter, The Guard: | I think there is a pickpocket in town. |
Player: | authorities |
Walter, The Guard: | Well, sooner or later we will get hold of that delinquent. That's for sure. |
Player: | avoided |
Walter, The Guard: | You can't tell by a person's appearance who is a pickpocket and who isn't. You simply can't close the city gates for everyone. |
Player: | gods would allow |
Walter, The Guard: | If the gods had created the world a paradise, no one had to steal at all. |
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Kulag, The Guard: | LONG LIVE THE KING! |
Player: | trouble |
Kulag, The Guard: | You adventurers become more and more of a pest. |
Player: | authorities |
Kulag, The Guard: | They should throw you all into jail instead of giving you all those quests and rewards an honest watchman can only dream about. |
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Grof, The Guard: | LONG LIVE THE KING! |
Player: | trouble |
Grof, The Guard: | I think it'll rain soon and I left some laundry out for drying. |
Player: | authorities |
Grof, The Guard: | Yes I'm pretty sure they have failed to send the laundry police to take care of it, you fool. |
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Miles, The Guard: | LONG LIVE THE KING! |
Player: | trouble |
Miles, The Guard: | I'm fine. There's no trouble at all. |
Player: | foresight of the authorities |
Miles, The Guard: | Well, of course. We live in safety and peace. |
Player: | also for the gods |
Miles, The Guard: | I think the gods are looking after us and their hands shield us from evil. |
Player: | trouble will arise in the near future |
Miles, The Guard: | I think the gods and the government do their best to keep away harm from the citizens. |
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Tim, The Guard: | LONG LIVE THE KING! |
Player: | trouble |
Tim, The Guard: | Ah, well. Just this morning my new toothbrush fell into the toilet |
Player: | authorities |
Tim, The Guard: | What do you mean? Of course they will immediately send someone with extra long and thin arms to retrieve it! |
Player: | avoided |
Tim, The Guard: | Your humour might let end you up beaten in some dark alley, you know? No, I don't think someone could have prevented that accident! |
Player: | gods would allow |
Tim, The Guard: | It's not a drama!! I think there is just no god who's responsible for toothbrush safety, that's all ... |
- Now return to Henricus and report back on the mission:
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | Your current mission is to investigate the reliability of certain guards. Are you done with that mission? |
Player: | yes |
Henricus: | Indeed, this is exactly what my other sources told me. Of course I knew the outcome of this investigation in advance. This was just a test. ... Well, now that you've proven yourself as useful, you can ask me for another mission. Let's see if you can handle some field duty, too |
Mission 2: Eclipse
- Ask Henricus about the mission:
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
- Explosion on the boiler.
Henricus: | Listen, we have information about a heretic coven that hides in a mountain called the Big Old One. The witches reach this cursed place on flying brooms and think they are safe there. ... I've arranged a flying carpet that will bring you to their hideout. Travel to Femor Hills and tell the carpet pilot the codeword 'eclipse' ... He'll bring you to your destination. At their meeting place, you'll find a cauldron in which they cook some forbidden brew ... Use this vial of holy water to destroy the brew. Also steal their grimoire and bring it to me. |
- Henricus will order you to disrupt the witches' sabbath and steal their book (The Witches' Grimoire).
- He will send you to Femor Hills from where you can fly to their mountain.
- Say the password "Eclipse" to Uzon and he will, albeit reluctantly, but take you there.
- Pour holy water(Special Flask) into the witch's cauldron (an explosion should appear on the cauldron), open the chest on the left. It contains The Witches' Grimoire, with which return to Henricus. But be careful. There are 7 Witches, 2 Ghouls, a Dark Magician, Cave Rats and 2 frogs hanging around the cauldron.
- To return again talk to Uzon.
- You can't return there, so if you want to hunt in peace, don't report the mission to Henricus.
Mission 3: Vampire Hunt
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | I think it's time to truly test your abilities. One of our allies has requested assistance. I think you are just the right person to helphim ... Storkus is an old and grumpy dwarf who works as a vampire hunter since many, many decades. He's quite successful but even hehas his limits ... So occasionally, we send him help. In return he trains and tests our recruits. It's an advantageous agreement for both sides ... You'll find him in his cave at the mountain outside of Kazordoon. He'll tell you about your next mission. |
- When you find him, he'll want you to bring him 20 Vampire Dusts.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Storkus: | Greetings, Player! Good you're showing up. |
Player: | mission |
Storkus: | So far ye've brought me 0 of 20 vampire dusts. Do ye' have any more with ye'? |
Player: | yes |
Storkus: | Fine, you're done! Ye' should talk to me about your mission again now. |
Player: | mission |
Storkus: | While ye' were keeping the lower ranks busy, I could get valuable information about some vampire lords ... One of them is hiding somewhere beneath the Green Claw Swamp. I expect ye' to find him and kill him ... But be warned: Without good preparation, ye' might get into trouble. I hope for ye' he will be sleeping in his coffin when ye' arrive ... Before ye' open his coffin and drag that beast out to destroy it, I advise ye' to place some garlic necklaces on the stone slabs next to his coffin. That will weaken him considerably ... Bring me his ring as proof for his death. And now hurry and good hunt to ye'. |
- He will then ask you to kill the Vampire Lord(The Count) who lives in the swamp.
Directions:
- To make it appear, you need to use its coffin.
- If you want to make killing the lord easier, place three Garlic Necklaces on the three altars marked with the numbers 1,2,3 and only use the coffin. A weakened vampire lord should then appear.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Storkus: | Greetings, Dream Beast! Good you're showing up. |
Player: | mission |
Storkus: | Ding, dong, the vampire is dead, eh? So I guess ye' can return to Henricus and tell him that ye' finished your job here. I'm quite sure he has some more challenging task up his sleeve ... One more thing before ye' leave: I already mentioned the master vampires ... They are quite hard to find. If ye' stumble across one of them and manage to kill him, he will surely drop some token that proves his death. Bring me these tokens ... If ye' kill enough of them, I might have a little surprise for ye'. |
- From now on you can do the Vampire Hunter Quest, and skip the first time-consuming Blood Brothers Quest. Afterwards, return to Henricus and report back to him.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Dream Beast! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | Your current mission is to help the vampire hunter Storkus. Are you done with that mission? |
Player: | yes |
Henricus: | Good, you've returned. Your skill in practical matters seems to be useful. If you're ready for a further mission, just ask. |
Mission 4: The Haunted Rui
- Here you must use holy water(Special Flask).
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | We've got a report about an abandoned and haunted house in Liberty Bay. I want you to examine this house. It's the only ruin in Liberty Bay so you should have no trouble finding it ... There's an evil being somewhere. I assume that it will be easier to find the right spot at night. Use this vial of holy water on that spot to drive out the evil being. |
- Henricus will give you holy water.
- Go to Liberty Bay and use the holy water on the old house (it is higher than "Sugar Street 3b", in the northwest of the city).
- Use the vial in the upper left corner of the building (a green glow comes out of there):
- After using the holy water, a Pirate Ghost will appear and the door will close. Kill him and after 10 seconds the door will open.
- Return to Thais and file a mission report with Henricus.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | Your current mission is to exorcise an evil being from a house in Liberty Bay. Are you done with that mission? |
Player: | yes |
Henricus: | Well, this was an easy task, but your next mission will be much more challenging. |
Mission 5: Essential Gathering
- Ask Henricus about the mission.
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | You've handled heretics, witches, vampires and ghosts. Now be prepared to face the most evil creatures we are fighting - demons. Your new task is extremely simple, though far from easy ... Go and slay demonic creatures wherever you find them. Bring me 20 of their essences as a proof of your accomplishments. |
- He wants you to bring him 20 Demonic Essence. Give them to him:
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | You're indeed a dedicated protector of the true believers. Don't stop now. Kill as many of these creatures as you can ... I also have a reward for your great efforts. Talk to me about your demon hunter outfit anytime from now on. Afterwards, let's talk about the next mission that's awaiting you. |
Player: | outfit |
Henricus: | Here is your demon hunter outfit. You deserve it. Unlock more addons by completing more missions. |
- And you'll get a demon hunter outfit with no extras.
Mission 6: Demon Ungree
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
Henricus: | We've got information about something very dangerous going on on the isle of Edron. The demons are preparing something there ... Something that is a threat to all of us. Our investigators were able to acquire vital information before some of them were slain by a demon named Ungreez ... It'll be your task to take revenge and to kill that demon. You'll find him in the depths of Edron. Good luck. |
Path to Demon:
- Enter the teleport and kill Ungreez. If you are in a group then remember that he will pass the mission the one who will inflict most of the damage to the demon.
- Return to Henricus and notify him that the mission has been completed:
Conversation:
Player: | hi |
Henricus: | Greetings, fellow believer Player! |
Player: | mission |
- and you will get the first Demon Hunter Outfits Quest addon.
Mission 7: The Shadow Nexus
- For this mission you must have completed at least 1 throne from Pits of Inferno Quest.
- This is a difficult mission. The help of a large group of Players with 200+ levels and a few 150+ lvl will come in handy here.
- Your task is to get to the Demon Forge and destroy the dark power source that is located there and protected by 7 demonic guards. You will get a bottle of holy water from Henricus for this purpose. The entrance to the Forge is located at the place where you perform the Vampire Shield Quest. There you will find a level gate from lvl 100 and a door that can only be opened after reporting the death of Ungreez.
- After entering the teleport (map number 9.) you will face several types of monsters such as Hellfire Fighter, Fire Devil or Fire Elemental (map number 10.). Go south and enter the entrance upstairs to find yourself in the main hall of the Demon Forge with teleports.
- You kill the demons in the order listed below, after defeating one and entering the teleport, you will be taken to the chamber of the next demon
- If you fall before entering the teleport after killing a boss, you will have to perform the whole action again.
- It is also not recommended to log out while doing this whole mission.
The Dark Path: Ushuriel
- To start here, you don't need to enter any of the teleports, just climb the stairs on the left to the top. On this path you will have to deal with monsters such as Hellfire Fighter and also Massive Fire Elemental. Continue walking east and climb the stairs to the top. Now you will be met with an unpleasant surprise as monsters such as Gargoyle, Behemoth and Juggernaut will be coming at you from 4 sides. So go slowly north so that too many monsters don't attack you at once. There may be 2-4 Juggernauts at the same time so be careful how you lurk. When you're done with the room, you'll find a teleport. Enter it to come face to face with Ushuriel defended by towers and numerous Eye of The Seven.
- Ushuriel is not a very strong demon. Only Magicthrower near him can get in the way, but they can't see invisible, so it's a good idea to wear a Stealth Ring. You can ward off the eyes by using Magic Wall Runes. Then you can calmly kill the boss with ice spells.
- After killing the boss, you have 3 minutes to enter the teleport, which will take you to the next room (after that it will already take you to the main hall). From there you can through the teleport back to the main hall or go further.
The Crystal Caves: Zugurosh
- In this part you will face many monsters such as Crystal Spider, Spectre and also Ice Golem.
- The best option is to go by the wall itself. Go east, then turn south and go west until you find a staircase. Be very careful, as you may also encounter very strong monsters on your way, like Hand of Cursed Fate. Climb up the stairs. *You will find yourself in a maze. As you walk through it, you will encounter such types of monsters as Phantasm (mostly the weaker ones, having 65 hp each but still a threat), Nightmare and Giant Spider.
- Here's the path you'll take through the maze, and at the end of it you'll find a teleport:
- Once you enter it, you'll find yourself in an underwater area where, in addition to the constant sinking feeling (taking 20 hp per turn), you'll encounter monsters like the Massive Water Elemental, Quara Pincher, Quara Predator and Quara Hydromancer.
- The road leads straight to another teleport, behind which Zugurosh himself awaits.
- The towers that protect him don't pose much of a threat, and the boss himself is best affected by spells that deal ice and fire damage. Once killed, as in the previous case, you have 3 minutes to enter the teleport to move you further.
The Blood Halls: Madareth
- Here you will encounter large numbers of monsters such as Dark Torturer, Betrayed Wraith, Lost Soul or Hand of Cursed Fate. Head in the northern direction until you reach the stairs. You'll find even more monsters in the room above, so some strong area spell (such as Rage of the Skies or Eternal Winter) may come in handy here.
- Another staircase, followed by another host of monsters, is located in the lower left corner, so head southwest. After passing through them, you will come across a teleport. You will find yourself in a room with monsters such as Juggernaut, Hellfire Fighter, Plaguesmith, Fury and Destroyer. After dealing with them, go to the southeast corner, where a teleport leading to Madareth's chamber awaits.
- After killing him, enter the teleport within 3 minutes to have it move you further.
The Vats: Latrivan and Golgordan
- Such dangerous monsters as Son of Verminor, Plaguesmith, Blightwalker, Defiler will stand in your way. Follow the path east until you reach a teleport. With it you will hit a place full of the following creatures: Fury, Hellhound, Destroyer, Blightwalker, Hand of Cursed Fate, Hellfire Fighter, Nightmare, Dark Torturer, Juggernaut.
- Go east again until you reach another teleport, beyond which you will meet both demonic bosses.
- After defeating them, enter the teleport.
The Arcanum: Annihilon
- Going this way you will encounter such enemies as Warlock, Lich, Hand of Cursed Fate, Braindeath, Vampire, Undead Dragon, Efreet, Diabolic Imp. Go the only way through three chambers until you reach a teleport carrying you to a place where you will encounter such dangers as Betrayed Wraith, Spectre, Lost Soul, Phantasm, Demon. Go south (you can stick to the west wall to have fewer monsters to kill) until you encounter a teleport carrying you to Annihilon. Kill it and move on.
The Hive: Hellgorak
- Immediately on your way you will encounter monsters such as Nightmare, Bonebeast, Son of Verminor and Juggernaut. Go north and ascend to higher and higher levels, additionally encountering such monsters as Ancient Scarab, Hellhound, Giant Spider, Demon along the way. You will finally reach a teleport, beyond which you will face a Hellgorak.
- It is partially or completely immune to all types of damage the Player can deal, so in order to defeat it, use the Convince Creature Rune to take over the Dreadbeasts in the same room and kill the demon with their help. After doing so, enter the teleport, beyond which the final challenge awaits you.
The Shadow Nexus
- Returning through the teleport will, of course, take you back to the main room, and in order to be here again, you would have to go through the whole Hellgorak part again, so it's better not to enter it until you have completed the challenge. Also, in the case of When Our Character is killed before using the holy water bottle, we have to do the part with the Hellgorak again.
- Here you will encounter monsters such as Fury, Juggernaut, Demon, Undead Dragon and Hellhound, of which Demons are constantly summoned by towers, so killing them makes no sense.
- Your target is the center of the cave, where there is a Magic Wall, on which you need to use the holy water bottle in the right way to first set the magic barrier on fire and then destroy it. Here is the order of use:
- We use a bottle of holy water on the magic wall. It changes to a magic wall with energy.
- We wait 20 seconds. The magic wall changes to a magic wall with fire. We use the bottle with holy water changes to magic wall with energy.
- We wait 20 seconds again. Magic wall changes to magic wall with fire. We use the bottle with holy water changes to magic wall with energy.
- And once again we wait 20 seconds. Magic wall changes to magic wall with fire. We use the bottle of holy water and already Shadow Nexus destroyed. Now as many Players as they can approach in 20 seconds and they don't have to repeat the whole action, just use their water.
- After destroying the source, return to Henricus and report back to him:
