Yes, as the name suggests, this spell is the ultimate weapon in the wizard's arsenal. Using the most powerful forces in the universe, the wizard is able to unleash a terrifying explosion whose devastating effect and its range surpasses all other spells. The purely destructive power of the maximum explosion is so strong that it can instantly kill all but the most powerful creatures within its vast range. For this reason, it must be used with extreme caution. Already more than one well-meaning wizard has accidentally fried friends from his group. Even worse, the tremendous physical and mental strain leaves the sorcerer maimed and deprived of mana. A badly used maximum explosion spell may be the last thing a sorcerer manages to do before being torn to pieces in the whirlwind of battle.
