The Formorgar Mines were established by newcomers from Carlin when the Ice Islands were first discovered. They are located in the Formorgar Glacier, or more precisely in caves called "mystical" by the local barbarians. Since they didn't venture into them very much, and even avoided them, mainland strangers easily bought access rights in exchange for, among other things, timber supplies.

However, the work did not last long. Eventually, mining of any ore there ceased and the site was abandoned. Instead, the mine tunnels were occupied by followers of a mysterious cult. They are said to revive terrible demonic monsters trapped deep in the ice, and their ultimate goal is to summon the powerful archdemon Ghazbaran. It is also rumored that deep in the mines is the crypt of the powerful ice witch Yakchal Crypt.

The inhabitants of Svargrond have been aware of the existence of some aliens since those there occupied the caves, but have no idea of their true ambitions. Since they have sealed the deeper caves and do not allow the aliens to enter, the area has become worthless to Carlin and the city has lost interest in the Ice Islands. Only a small delegation from the Carlin trade consortium remains, hoping to regain control of the caves.

The mines themselves are a vast and in places dangerous complex. At higher levels, you can gain experience even at lvl 70, but only experienced players above level 90 should venture into the lower levels. After completing a certain Elevator Quest, you can move quickly between levels.
