Eleonore's Missing Ring Quest

Name: Eleonore's Missing Ring Quest.
Location: Liberty Bay - a city and a safe part of the mountains.
Reward: The ability to travel on Meriana Island, 5 gp.
Monsters: Tarantula, Spider, Centipede, Wasp, Tiger.

NOTE, the following description applies only to this part, which allows you to get to the island of Meriana, to be able to get to the islands of Laguna, you still need to do the Laguna Islands Quest, for access to the island of Nargor you must later do the Meriana Island Quest.

Description

To buy a Rake, we go to Venore, to the NPC Nelliem and for 20 gp we buy the necessary tool. We can also find them by going from Ab'Dendriel to Kazordoon.

Once we are in possession of all the items, we go to the ship and sail to Liberty Bay after which we go to the rich district of the city, to the "Silverhand residence".

We go to this point, find Eleonore on the floor of the house and start a conversation:

• Player: Hi
• Eleonore: Be greeted. What brings you here?
• Player: Ring
• Eleonore: My ring was stolen by a parrot, directly from my dressing table near the window. It flew to the nearby mountains and I fearmy ring will be lost forever. Whoever returns it to me will be rewarded generously. ...
• Eleonore: I guess that evil parrot hid the ring somewhere on a high tree or a rock so that you might need a rake to get it.

Eleonore will task us with taking the ring to the parrot. For this very thing you need a Rake and a levitate spell (or 12 Parcels). We head to the right of the house, somewhere in this area there will be a staircase. Enter and continue already following the map.

Once we have reached the very top of the mountain and defeated the Tarantulas we should encounter a tree on our way.

We use Rake on it and receive a ring:

You see a crystal ring. It weighs 0.90 oz. The initials E.S. are engraved on it.

We return to Eleonore and write:

• Eleonore: Be greeted. What brings you here?
• Player: Ring
• Eleonore: Oh, my beloved ring! Have you found it and want to return it to me?
• Player: Yes
• Eleonore: Oh, thank you so much! Take this gold as a reward. ... which reminds me, I would need some help in another matter. It is only a small errand. Are you interested?
• Player: Yes
• Eleonore: Thank you! It is not a difficult matter but a rather urgent one. I need to send some money to a person in town. Would you be willing to run this small errand for me?
• Player: Yes
• Eleonore: I was hoping that you'd agree. Please deliver these 200 gold pieces to the herbalist Charlotta in the south-western part of the town. If you return from this errand, I will grant you 5 gold pieces as reward for your efforts.

We get 200 gp, which we carry to Charlotta. She lives in a poor part of the city. We tell her:

• Charlotta: Oh, so you brought some gold from Eleonore to me?
• Player: Yes
• Charlotta: Hmm, it seems that Eleonore does trust you. Perhaps she is even right. However. Since we need some help right now I guess we can't be too picky. Return to Eleonore and tell her the secret password: 'peg leg'. She will tell you more about her problem.

We return to Eleonore and say:

• Player: Hi
• Eleonore: Be greeted. What brings you here?
• Player: Errand
• Eleonore: Great, thank you! As promised, here are your 5 gold pieces. Is there ... anything left that you might want to discuss with me?
• Player: Peg Leg
• Eleonore: You have returned my ring and proven yourself as trustworthy. There is something I have to discuss with you. Are you willing to listen?
• Player: Yes

And that's how we ended up on the island of Meriana, which from now on we can sail to whenever we want, we just need to have 50 gp and tell the secret password to the captain. Among other things, another task awaits us here, thanks to which we will gain access to the islands of Laguna.
