Mining
From Realera Wiki
Mining – it is mining rocks like Amethyst Rock, Emerald Rock, Ruby Rock and Sapphire Rock with an Obsidian Pick obtainable from the Obsidian Challenge Quest to collect shards used for melting gems in Gromars forge, which can later be used to Upgrading items.
What you need
Obsidian Pick – simply use it on a gem rock.
- Mining skill – it improves with every swing, even the ones that miss.

- Break chance - the chance the rock runs out and become Empty Rock. In practice it drops a bit for high-level miners.
- Click on a rock to check its location on the map
How digging works
- Use your Obsidian Pick on a rock.
- The game rolls for success: the higher your Mining level, the better the chance.
- On success you receive 1-10 gems (the higher your level, the closer to 10).
- Every swing, success or miss, gives +1 Mining experience.
- Early on you will miss a lot - that’s normal.
- A green sparkle (MAGIC GREEN) shows you really found something.
- For each advance in mining you get 1-3 Blacksmith Tokens (Finishing Obsidian Challenge Quest) required)
Depleted rocks and respawn
- When a rock breaks it becomes an Empty Rock.
- The rock respawns after 6-8 real time hours (chosen at random).
- The more gems you dig at once, the smaller the break chance - veterans break rocks less often.
- Each player can take only one Moonstone from a given rock - after success it is empty for you, but others may still try.
Final tips
- Don’t give up - the first levels feel slow, later you mine faster and safer.
- If a rock broke, come back in a few hours or look for another vein.
- Team up with friends and share locations of rocks.
